What is the Microneedling Treatment Like?

Is There Any Downtime After Microneedling?
Microneedling has very little downtime, as the skin heals quickly after treatment. However, patients can expect some redness, and occasionally, pinpoint bleeding, in the days following treatment. While these side effects won’t interfere with daily activities, some patients choose to take a few days off of social activities to let the skin return to normal.
What Results Can I Expect from Microneedling?
The results from microneedling take time to become visible, as it can take several weeks before collagen is produced and implemented into the skin. This means that patients may not notice results from microneedling until about one month after treatment. Furthermore, patients typically require multiple treatment sessions for optimal results.
